     The Ski Hawks' value trip for 2027.  Join us at this EPIC Mountain resort for up to 4-1/2 days of skiing & boarding.


    Registration is now open. 

    Due to unexpected demand all 32 spots were taken within the first few

    days that registration was open. We were able to add more capacity upto about 44 spots. 


    If showing sold out, please sign-up on the waitlist. A few additional spots may be available depending upon condo room request & assignments.     


     Lift ticket and Airfare registration is separate - see below. 



    Ski in / Ski out 2 bedroom & 2 bath condos are booked at the Beaver Run Resort slopeside at the corner of Mountain St & Main St. Each condo consists of 1 queen bed in the master, 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom, and a sofa sleeper. If 4 singles are placed in a condo, one may have to use the sofa sleeper. They have 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living / dining area, fireplace and private balcony. A total of 12 condo units are reserved. Maximum capacity of 48 less single requests that may impact capacity. 

    Beaver Run has four restaurants and stores on site for your convenience and pleasure. Spencer's Steaks and Spirits serves American cuisine in a friendly atmosphere, The Coppertop Café offers a quick and convenient breakfast or lunch, G.B. Watson's Deli features delicatessen and a mini grocery, Spencer's Lounge has a great atmosphere for quiet conversation, cocktails and unwinding, and Tiff's Night Club is the place to go for dancing, big screen televisions, games, daily drink specials, lunch, and après ski entertainment. As usual, Beaver Run has something for everyone!


    Plans are to fly into Denver and then shuttle bus up to Beaver Run Resort at Breckenridge. Grocery & Liquor store stops are planned. 

    Breckenridge is an Epic Pass destination as is neighboring Keystone Resort.  Plans are to take a day trip adventure to Keystone.

    A minimum deposit of $425 will reserve your spot.

    ·        $   970 "Early Bird Special" if deposit is received by Oct. 17th     

    ·        $ 1,020 if deposit is received after Oct. 17th and by Nov 15th.

    ·        $ 1,070 if deposit is received after Nov. 15th.

    * Pricing is based on a 24-person minimum and is subject to change if there are less than 24 participants, there are fuel or ground transportation surcharges, or unforeseen increases in fees or taxes.

    Beaver Run Resort Shuttle

    The Beaver Run Resort was rated the # 1 resort in Summit County for 2024. Beaver Run Resort offers a complementary shuttle with stops through the town of Breckenridge including main street with numerous shops and restaurants. 

    The Breckenridge FREERIDE bus is available for free town bus transportation. The stops are located on Village Road, near the lobby and across the street from the lobby, near the garage entrance.

    Flight Information

    Current plans are to fly Delta Airlines from Minneapolis to Denver CO. Breckenridge is 101 miles from Denver International Airport (DIA). 


    We will be using Delta airlines for this trip. However, we are have not been overly happy with quoted group rates. 


    A total of 32 group seats available at the price of $ 521.00.


    Additional seats may be added as needed at the then current pricing. Individuals may wish to book individually directly with Delta on the same flights. All participants are eligible for the shuttle service to/from DIA to Breckenridge regardless of how the get to DIA.

      Depart DEN - MSP: Flight DL1220 at 5:44 PM. Arrive at 8:45 PM


    Important: If you choose to book your own flight but desire to utilize the SkiHawks' bus transportation, you must be sure that your flight arrives in DEN prior to 12:03 PM The bus departs about 1 hour after the group flight arrives. . Your return flight to MSP must depart after 5:44 PM. If you are not able to coordinate arrival and departure times, you would have to arrange your own shuttle services at your cost.

      Val Di Fassa is an IKON Pass Resort


      Val di Fassa-Canazei is a premier Dolomiti Superski resort in Italy's Dolomites, offering direct access to the 16 mile Sellaronda circuit and over 130 miles of linked slopes. Located at 4,806 feet with high-altitude skiing up to 8,655 feet, it is ideal for intermediate skiers and families, featuring a lively village, extensive snowmaking, and scenic, high-alpine terrain.

      The valley is divided into several distinct zones, each catering to different skill levels: 

      • Belvedere (Canazei) & Col Rodella (Campitello) The most popular hubs, offering wide, sunny intermediate runs and the primary gateway to the Sellaronda.  
      • Buffaure (Pozza) & Ciampac (Alba) Known for scenic vistas and the challenging "Ciampac" black run that descends into the valley. 
      • Alpe Lusia (Moena) & San Pellegrino Features broad, well-groomed slopes ideal for families and early intermediates.

      With the Dolomiti Superski ski pass, you can also travel around the nearby valleys and follow some of the best-known circuits, including the Sellaronda and the First World War Tour.

      The Dolomiti Superski is spread over an area of about 741,000 acres in the North-East of Italy, and includes most of the winter ski slopes of the Dolomites. The area consists of 16 ski areas spread over 12 resorts, a total of 774 miles of slopes, 450 ski lifts, it is the largest ski area in the world:

      We will fly into either Munich and then Motorcoach to Schloss Dolomiti Hotel in the village of Canazei. Every effort will be made to  get the best airfare while minimizing time and airplane transfers.

        • Après ski events: Canazei has one of the liveliest après-ski scenes in the region. Gather the group at Paradìs, a quaint cabin right in the village that hosts daily winter music and drinks.
        • Non Ski Activities: There are many non ski winter activities that you can do in and around the Canazei village. Venture on your own or we can organize groups. More discussion on these and other activities will occur at the pre trip meeting.
          • You do not need skis to ride the main lifts and experience the dramatic peaks. You can buy single-ride pedestrian lift tickets at the valley stations.
          • Sass Pordoi Cable CarTake the cable car up to the "Terrace of the Dolomites" at 2,950 meters for jaw-dropping 360-degree views.
          • Dòlaondes Aquatic Center: Located right inside Canazei, this facility features a large wellness area, whirlpools, and saunas, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
          • QC Terme Dolomiti: Located just a short drive down the valley in Pozza di Fassa, this is a world-class luxury thermal spa. It features outdoor heated pools surrounded by snow, panoramic saunas, and relaxation rooms.
          • Snowshoeing in Val Duron: Rent snowshoes in town and head out on the popular Val Duron loop. The trail is surrounded by massive rock walls and leads to cozy alpine huts serving hot bombardinos (a classic eggnog-and-brandy winter drink)
          • Val Gardena & Ortisei Day Excursion: Join a guided group bus or hire a private shuttle to cross the stunning Sella Pass into the neighboring Val Gardena. These tours spend the afternoon exploring Ortisei, a picturesque town world-famous for its traditional woodcarvings, upscale pedestrian shopping streets, and vibrant café culture.

        Munich Portion of the Trip

        We will stay three nights at the 25H Royal Bavarian Hotel

        The Royal Bavarian is a quirky, luxury design hotel situated in the former Imperial Post and Telegraph building. It features eclectic rooms, the Middle Eastern restaurant NENI, and the popular Boilerman Bar, all just a 2-minute walk from the Central Train Station. 

        Located directly opposite Munich Central Station, making it incredibly accessible for city explorers. Karlsplatz and the Marienplatz Old Town are about a 10 to 15-minute walk away.

        Activities in Munich are too numerous to list here.  Basically, you will have an opportunity to choose what you want to do as a group or venture out on your own. Some activities to choose from include:

Since our inception in 1971, VBT has guided group cycling tours throughout the pastoral valleys of our native Vermont—and we know every hidden corner. From the artsy-chic waterfront city of Burlington to the peaceful byways of the Champlain Islands, you’ll love spinning through the clean Vermont air—spotting ospreys and majestic great blue herons winging their way along tranquil shores. Along the way, you’ll meet VBT’s countless Vermont friends, including a local who introduces you to the tradition of maple sugaring during a tour of their authentic Vermont sugar shack. As you spin through Stowe’s evergreen mountain valleys, you’ll even have a chance to stop at a local farm stand for Vermont’s favorite summer treat—the maple creemee.
