The SkiHawks extend a warm welcome to The Ski Monster, a brand-new ski shop that just opened a location Plymouth MN at 13705 26th Ave N. Suite 120, which is roughly Highways 55 and I 494. Directions.
The Ski Monster first opened in Boston in 2007 by MN native George Michaelsen. George grew up skiing and racing at Buck Hill and is now back in MN to open his 2nd store in Plymouth.
Ski boot fitting is a huge part of what the Ski Monster is known for. Their approach starts with understanding how you ski, then looking at your feet, mobility and what you need form the boot before deciding what actually fits. They also do custom foot beds, liner and shell molding, punches, stretches and other modifications - Including work on boots not purchased from them.
